  • In 2 minds here; is this under-fruited (and even tired) or instead a old world classic structure still to come out of its shell. Given Croser's involvement the latter is a reasonable bet but I'm not convinced. Muted nose with a faint touch of gamey red berries. Palate is subtle with not much primary fruit, rather more game, old tabacco and a layer of powdery and Bordeaux-like tannin. Good length but the fruit doesn't travel. Would have expected more from this, particularly at full retail.
