Black inky hue-- teeth stainer. Dark berries, limestone, white pepper nose. Full bodied than typical Malbec (more fruit forward), easy drinking. White pepper/spice, dark berries, smooth, limestone notes, perfect time to drink, lush, velvety, medium finish. Developing into a really nice wine. Hard to believe this is a Malbec out of Stags Leap. Paired great with our spicy asian meal.

Black inky hue-- teeth stainer. Dark berries, alcohol on the nose (14.4% alc). Residual sugar/legs, full bodied, slightly tannic, easy drinking. White pepper/spice, cedar, dark berries, long finish. Nice offering.

An excellent Malbec and rivals some of the best I've had from Argentina. Mineral and floral notes on the nose with flavors of blueberries and blackberries. Hint of spice and smoke on the finish. A bit heavy on the oak but 22 months in barrels will do that. Drink up!

What a great find. Tasted this wine last year at a CA Barrel tasting-- loved it then, love it now. Still a bit young, this has nothing but upside. Great to find a nice Malbec in the states. Worth seeking out this bottle-- if you can find it.
