Initial impression was a raisin nose. After drinking it a bit and letting it sit for an hour, I suspect the bottle we tried was corked. I poured out the bottle after half a glass.

Not a monster, but rather a soft, almost sweet, zinfandel with light tannin and spice. Lamb chops. I tried other food pairings with no success. Flavors too strong for chicken, pork bbq, or or grilled mixed veggies.
