  Nice start on the nose but falls after that. Sharp and a bit acidic on first taste, decent on mid and late palate. But leaves a little bitterness on finish. Disappointing, I was expecting better. Maybe this one was defective in some way.

  Aptos is a town in SCM. in a state park, 1/3 mile from the ocean. dark aspect to this wine from cluster the size of golf balls and berries the size of beebees. xtreme cool climate. 1/3 new oak. marginal vineyard. '09 was declassified into the Santa Cruz County Cuvee.
