  I found another bottle and this bottle is tasting extremely good right now !! I agree with my tasting motes of jthe past three years.
  The cork was perfect after over a decade in the bottle. This balanced Pinot Noir was consumed over two days. Deep ruby color with no oxidation, clarity medium. Fragrant aromas of black raspberry and pomegranate, flavors of red fruit compote, rhubarb, and marine soil with a pleasant medium finish. Great fruit made into a very balanced Pinot Noir from Sierra Mar Vineyard owned by Gary and Rosella Franscioni in the Santa Lucia Highlands appellation of Monterey County. Clone 943 definitely has some of the smallest berries of the Dijon clones. Often, the berries are seedless forcing early picking since those tiny seedless berries go away if any heat arises. Excellent winemaking by Adam Lee and Ryan Zepaltis. This mature Pinot Noir is near or just past peak. This Pinot Noir is an age worthy wine, unfortunately, I have no more bottles of this vintage remaining.

  I agree with my five tasting notes of the past three years. This bottle is tasting extremely good right now !!
  The cork was perfect after over a dozen years in the bottle. This balanced Pinot Noir was consumed over two days. Deep ruby color with modest oxidation, clarity medium. Aromas of black raspberry and pomegranate, flavors of red fruit compote, rhubarb, and marine soil with a pleasant medium finish. Great fruit made into a very balanced Pinot Noir from Sierra Mar Vineyard owned by Gary and Rosella Franscioni in the Santa Lucia Highlands appellation of Monterey County. Excellent winemaking by Adam Lee and Ryan Zepaltis. This mature Pinot Noir is near or just past peak and ia an age-worthy wine with more years of life remaining. Unfortunately, this was my last bottle of this vintage remaining in my cellar.

  Really tasting good right now !!
  I agree with my 4 notes over the past year. Perfect cork, consumed over two days. I still have two bottles of this vintage remaining.

  I agree with my rating of just under two months ago.
  This bottle is tasting extremely good right now !! The cork was perfect after over a decade in the bottle. This balanced Pinot Noir was consumed over three days. Deep ruby color with no oxidation, clarity medium. Aromas of black raspberry and pomegranate, flavors of red fruit compote, rhubarb, and marine soil with a pleasant medium finish. This wine was really tight upon opening and really benefited from gentle oxygen since it was much more soft and integrated on day two and had not fallen apart by day three. Great fruit made into a very balanced Pinot Noir from Sierra Mar Vineyard owned by Gary and Rosella Franscioni in the Santa Lucia Highlands appellation of Monterey County. This Pinot Noir is an age worthy wine and may have many more years of life left. I still have four more bottles of this vintage remaining; I may open one of them within another month or so to verify my rating.
