Shiny and clear tawny port, amber color. Outspoken nose, reminding one of caramel. Full body, very flavorful, moderate alcohol heat, good length, nice finish. Not a very complex drink in flavor but an enjoyment in drinking.

I really love this port for what it is: a tasty, low-end tawny port, with notes of carmel, raisins, nuts, walnut, orange. Great QPR for about $14 / bottle. We paired this with the Wine Lovers Chocolate for port, which was a terrific pairing.

Good example of an inexpensive tawny. The reviewer below is confusing the rancio quality of the tawny port with a bottle that is too old, perhaps expecting a different, sweeter type of port.

Holds it's own against 10 and 20 year old Portgeuse tawnys.
