  • Great wine at this level. The aroma was filled with herbs and notes of cassis and currants. On the palate, it had a nice elegance, typical of Spring Mountain, and showed good herbal notes, a leathery fruitiness with a good rustic quality that fit perfectly with the wine. Finish was good with a medium body and well-integrated tannins. Not a blockbuster, but for what it is worth, an excellent bottle for unexpected company.
