  • Last of the bottles from my WineBid purchase. About the same as the previous bottle - drinking pretty well, but not singing. A bit of a roasted note that was interesting, though not totally pleasurable.

  • Drinking wonderfully right now! A total pleasure with a number of appetizers and a soft shell crab with New Orleans rice main course. Still showing some fruit but with some secondary flavors emerging. Awesome, I wish I had more.

  • Recent purchase from WineBid.
This bottle was, thankfully, more correct than the weird bottle I had last Thanksgiving. This was acid-driven and tasty with a nice aged Cali Pinot flavor profile, though lacked depth. Seemed a bit more advanced that I would expect, but hey "...only great bottles" I guess applies here. I have one more of these left from my WineBid purchase and I hope that shows the best of the three, but I suspect provenance is an issue with this lot.

  • Interesting wine. Initially good, with tart cherry, currant, raspberry, earth and spice. Good on its own. Surprisingly not good with the rack of lamb with herbs but excellent with the wild and long-grained rice with chicken bone broth, with tart and tasty red fruit. My mother-in-law really liked it.

    A recent purchase from WineBid.com

    Drink now or hold.

  • This really shocked the hell out of me! I'm familiar with the producer but this was on another level! A bigger style pinot for sure but it was tremendous.
