  This wine was initially the best of the group. After a four hour decant, we blind tasted this against an '01 Chimney Rock Elevage and an '03 Miner Oracle. Great nose on this wine! The awesome smell of a barrel room, French oak, and cedar. This wine has super concentration with notes of tar, smoke, licorice, and caramel. It did not finish well, and ultimately was blown away by the Elevage in terms of elegance and finesse. I would not rebuy based on the available wines at a similar price.
