Great pinot that showcases the Oregon style. Subtle nose of cherry and cranberry. Flavors of other red fruit (almost like strawberry?) wiht a light and velvety smooth finish. This is good.

Had this Saturday evening, with another couple, after enjoying an '07 Bouchard Finlayson Galpin Peak pinot noir from South Africa. Nose of dark cherry, and some earth. Medium bodied w/flavors of cherry and light oak standing out. I thought this was a little flabby and soft, and lacking in any real complexity. A distant 2nd place to the South African pn, but that also carries a $40 retail price, vs the $14-$18 price here in Oregon. But for the price Ok, although there are better values out there. WS top 100, seems like a stretch.

Brightened up and became more elegant and refined with food, but otherwise seemed slightly off balanced betwee the fruit and other structure of the wine.

Great value. Had all the right notes of red fruit and spice on the nose and palate. Very easy drinking and enjoyable.
