Grapefruit pith & pear. Bracing acidity. Just what is needed with gambas al ajillo, or a grand plate of pulpo gallego. Does a fine job of evoking a clear, breezy day by the sea. For the same money, to serve with the same dishes, I might rather have a chalky, salty Muscadet or Loire Sauv Blanc... but this is pretty good wine nonetheless.
