Let breathe 35 minutes. Lite yellow-gold color. Nose dominated by butter and marigolds. Notes of honey, lemons, distant vanilla, mild sweetness, and a bit of honeydew melon. As dirt cheap as this wine was, I was expecting rotgut, but this wine is in its prime right now. We had it with chicken curry, and it was an excellent match. I generally am not a white wine guy, but was really impressed with this.

Pale gold color with apple, pear, spice, pineapple, tropical fruits, and sour cherry on the nose. Lots of minerality especially on the finish with a good amount of acid. The wine does not have malolactic fermentation but has notes of it on the pallate.

Hints of caramel on the nose and palate but lacking in fruit.

Not bad. A little over oaked, but still pleasant.
