I thoroughly enjoyed this wine, decanted for 45 minutes. Deep purple with a red berry ,spice and liquorice perfume. Pallet is full and rich with all components complementing each other

Deep garnet appearance. Clean nose, medium+ intensity nose, devloping, primary aromas of blackcurrant leaf, blackcurrant, tomato leaf. Secondary aromas of toast, smoke. Tertiary aromas of earth, vegetal. Dry palate, medium+ acid, medium tannin, high alcohol, full body, medium flavour intensity, medium - finish. Nice nose but the palate fails to live up it. Perhaps just a bad bottle but this is already in decline and thinning out

Nosed of crushed rocks, smoked spices, provencal herbs and balsamic red currant fruit. A balanced delivery of lightly spicy currant fruits, rocky minerals , quartz and tangy finish. Well executed and elegant shiraz worthy to stand shoulder to shoulder with the best from Rhone. In fact might even be more elegant than most. Cool pristine and the oak is superbly integrated. A limestone finish with absolutely silky smooth tannins . I am very impressed. One of the best Shiraz I have had from Australia in recent times.
