Community Tasting Notes (1)

  • A.P. 13 10. A full, yellow-gold colour. Begins with pineapple hints on the nose, but settles to nut and apple cake - not really spelling Mosel. The considerable warmth of the vintage, perhaps? The mouth has a fullish body with very concentrated yellow peach flavours of a good length. After half an hour, the alcohol (stated as 12.5%) peeps through on the finish, which is a shame. Only good plus due to the intrusive alcohol. It is clearly concentrated enough, but not deserving a GK.
