Dark purple-red color. Full bodied. Ripe, rich, jammy fruits and a little sweet. There is also some acidity, some edge, some tannins and structure that prevent the "jammy" and "sweet" from becoming an oozy, cloying mess. Not getting the extreme alcoholic burn like some have. A good, solid fruit-fest for casual quaffing; something I would just drink young.

Cherry, dark violet, not hot on nose Quite tannic out the bottle, silky and well-balanced with peppery heat. A run through a decanter gives a well balanced finished article Good price point at majestic

BOOOMFFF! That is the sound of your ears responding to your palate when the alcohol smacks your tongue to the back of your throat and throttles your uvula. Not gentle and really quite massive with red fruit swamped with heat. Cherries, tangy strawberry and......well, a lot of heat and alcohol. Yes, it is young, but where will the heat go as this wine matures? No idea.

Wasn't for me, too much heat from the alcohol.

Tasted at Jean Robert Table, Cincinnati
Eye: dak ruby. Nose: cherries, herbs, smoke, vanilla. Palate: juicy dak fruit, spices, solid tannin structure behind, full body and long finish.
