This didn’t work for me. Nose was interesting though dominated by a sort of soy sauce tertiary note. On palate, another taster described it well as ‘shrill acidity.’

Apparently this grower had an idea of creating a bank of wine that could be accessed for older vintages for restaurants and maybe customers. And apparently legally it was a flop but he continues to try.
Here, just opened. Dark black fruit, cherry tobacco, earth, harshness of tannins. Shrill acidity. Certainly not the most charming wine.

Quite a bit of fruit in a very complex aroma. Quite a bit of chocolate etc. The acidity was strong but nicely integrated. A really good wine.
