Tastes like what it is. Corvina blend with a subtle raisiny character. Not over the top and not stewed in anyway, but also not a whole lot of complexity to it. Entry level Amarone.

Good stuff. Not too raisiny, but on initial sniffs it certainly was old world smelling. Olives, something brine-like, anyway. Red fruit, spice. Medium body, and things opened up well. Later it was starting to smell a bit like tomato plants in a hot house. Went well with the pork loin I pan roasted.

Still decent, drinking it 2 years too late. Working my way through about 50 bottles that are past their prime.
