(Cascine Barolo) Funky nose reminded me of sushi rice wrapped in seaweed. Kind of a dirty nose that opened to become quite nice. Soft yet complex palate with velvety tannins. Very interesting wine. Not really fruity but very earthy.2/12/2003, (See more on Rockss and Fruit...)
