This was still pretty backward. Nice aromatics but the palate was quite stern and the finish a bit tannic. Very dark fruit. Still amazing for a villages NSG but not the best Leroy experience at this moment

Still very backward. With 30 mins in the decanter, it still does not fully open up the wine. Nose is deep with dark fruit, perfume and flowers. Palate has exceptional structure and depth for a village wine. Perhaps it needs another 5 years for the wine to be ready.

Decanted for 1 hr. Leroys nsg is backward. The nose had hawflakes, flowers and red fruit. Palate was deep with pretty red fruit. Impressive depth for a village. I like it better than the 06.

Medium garnet color, nose rather subdued all along with violet and roses, also new oak. Medium palate that is quite light reminds me of the lean 07, but perhaps a tad less so. After 3 hours in bottle, the oak blew away and left with a beautiful palate of red flowers and tea. This needs time but have potential to improve by a point or 2.
