{screwcap, 19%} Tawny brown colour. Fresh, vivid aromas and flavours of raisins and molten sultanas. Medium acid, medium-sweet. Medium/full weight, short-medium length finish. Decent value dessert wine that lacks the complexity to prevent a certain cloyingness setting in after a glass or two.

Brown/amber. All fig on the nose. Quite sweet and unctuous with fig and sultana fruit, a brulée aspect, and just enough acidity to keep it from being dull.

Colour: medium sepia Nose: clean, medium(+) intensity, tertiary, developing. Raisins, walnuts, prunes. Demerara sugar. Caramel? Glacé pineapple. Spirity. Palate: unctuous, medium(-) acidity, 19% alcohol, full bodied. Medium(+) intensity, long finish. Raisins, walnuts, prunes. Demerara sugar. Caramel? Glacé pineapple. Spirity. Not as complex as some other PX sherries, but lovely anyway. Really rich and sweet but not cloying. Conclusions: good. Drink now, not suitable for ageing or further ageing.

Very similar to when last tasted (23.01.2020). Benefits from a few days in opened bottle.
