Didn't seem as immediately impressive as the last bottle. More angular, with the sour fruit jutting out instead of working in harmony with the other elements. Very distinct blood orange on the finish the first night. But it did settle into its own and by the end of night two it was integrated and singing again with bright fruit giving way to rich earthiness and evergreen.

Right in the sweet spot of where New Zealand Pinot is at its best. Zingy sour cherry, great acidity, but also a grounding earthiness. Delicious. Only problem is that it faded fast on the second night with rapid oxidation but I'm scoring it based on the first night.
