Heavy alcohol, leather, and a touch of red fruit on the nose. Light-medium tannins, but a flat finish. Varietally correct, but sort of blah. Oddly boring for a Kermit Lynch wine.

Fresh, ripe fruit on the initial palate. Decent tannic structure on the midpalate along with a little acidic spine made a nice pairing with a grilled steak. Simple finish. Medium-bodied, straightforward, clean, basic red table wine. For $14.00 it does it's job well as a decent companion to a mid-week meal.

Easy to identify as Italian, with slightly tart red fruit and medium to high acidity. Not much earthiness, but some dustiness on the somewhat rustic finish. Brighter fruit than most Tuscan wines, but nothing that will make me dash back to purchase again.

Yuk! Shame on you Kermit Lynch for putting your name on this bottle of what you claim is wine.
