Community Tasting Notes (1) Avg Score: 90 points

  • Earthy nose, at first a bit rusty, after some time clean with red fruits. Taste red fruit, soft, velvety, beatifully integrated round tannins in the finish. This is the first tannic 1er cru 1999 I have drunk that shows good integration of tannins. This gives hope to the other 1999 1er cru Cote de Nuits I have that I was beginning to worry about whether they will ever loose their prominent tannins.
