Paired with Boeuf Bourginion and potato gratin courtesy of JFD's family recipe. Had some friends ala Aloke the bloke and Sangita over and am pretty well toasted but before I have no idea which way is up I guess I should review is exceptional wine.
Although I am being told it is like adult Ribena that will have Joe lauding his ass off, I can taste slight tobacco, black current and star anise. This treasure is smooth to drink with a spicy kick at the back but not a severe peppery quality.
I really think this is my favorite Macchia so far and I am a serious fan of this winery, thank you very much for producing this gem.
