This wine has opened and is entering it's prime. Leesy brioche, white peaches, tropical fruit, balanced acid, nice oak hints, highly textured with some nice finishing minerality. 600 cases produced. From a 60-year-old vineyard planted on St.-Georges rootstock in the Goldridge soils on West Side Road in Russian River. David Abreu, vineyard manager, and Pat Sullivan was the winemaker, with consultation by Michel Rolland.

Very good California Chard. Rich and succulent. Slight bit of oak but not overdone. Had with Lobster poached in butter with truffle oil. Almost as perfect together as the Foie Gras and 03 Reiussec we had for an appetizer.

Stunning! Tastes like a well aged Chassagne-Montrachet. Fabulous. Drink now or by 2017. LO

This was not as good as I remember. On the down slope. Drink up what you have.

Amazing. The best chardonnay I've ever had.
