Community Tasting Notes (1) Avg Score: 96 points

  • Dark ruby. Amazingly pure ripe red and blue fruit and earth on the nose. Very round and balanced on the palate with lots of energy. Like many 2009s that I tasted recently, this is almost approachable now due to its abundant fruit, but this should really be hands off for at least 10-15 years. Very elegant and long. I sampled over several days, and the wine was still fresh on the 5th day from re-corked (and inert-gas-sealed) bottle.
