  • In its prime, 2002. Perhaps a tad less depth than the 2002 Pruliers (Gouges) consumed very recently. But equally pretty, if not prettier, especially if depth and beauty turn out to be somewhat mutually exclusive virtues.

  • Very approachable but possibly with more to give this wine shows glimpses of a very fine wine. Sweet pinot nose, no oak sticking out which i was expecting, a plush palate and dense mouthfeel, good balance and decent finish. Very enjoyable but i sense this wine can improve and gain more complexity over the next few years.
