I think the 2003's are at a perfect drinking age. Another excellent zin from Jerry Seps - plenty of fruit but not overpowering. Just enough barrel to keep the wine soft, tannins are well integrated and don't get in the way. Not too much alcohol. Great with dinner pasta one night and held up to steak on day 2. Good sipping for the last drops from the bottle.

A little past prime, but still pretty good.

Lush black fruit and plum, spice box and cedar. Fruity but balanced and holding up well.

Great lush berry fruit. Spice and vanilla. Not terribly complex but rich and balanced. Seems to be nearing or at peak.
