Medium deep gold. Muted nose. Fairly sweet on entry, with muddled non-precise flavored of tropical fruit, lemon, lime, red apple, and sweet pear coming later. Nice, but surprisingly advanced. Good red-Apple acidity but strangely separate from, rather than balancing, the acid. Good. Past its prime.

Muted nose, but nice, racy palate with lime, red apple, and a bit of green tropicals and pineapple. Loads of acid, seemingly more than in previous bottles. Medium finish of lime/lime zest with a continued presence of acids and some minerality. Previous bottles suggested that this was at its prime, but this one suggests more time ahead. Overall, disappointing nose but quite interesting and nice palate. 89-90.

Complex, but fairly faint nose of tropical fruits, citrus, flowers. The palate is where this really shines, with an impressive richness of tropicals (guava, pineapple, mango), stone fruits (peaches), etc. Yum. If this had been $40+, I'd be a bit disappointed, but at $20, this is great.

On the nose I found honeydew, wet stone and bit of funk, which brought soft cheese to mind. On the palate, it came across as floral with apple, honey, and and hints of roasted nuts. The finish was lemony with a tar sour patch note that stayed with me for over a minute. It was ultimately a very enjoyable Riesling and total crowd pleaser.

A bit muted on the nose, but opens up to a lot of tropical fruits and lime zest. Rich, but racy. Not a blockbuster, but yum.
