  Very nice bouquet, but I found this wine to be a little thin on my palate. There was nothing offensive and it was silky smooth, but light with very little finish. A good mid-week wine, IMHO, because there's really no need to wait around while it breathes. A pretty good bottle overall.

  Not quite as good as I remember but regardless this is good budget malbec at $15. Plenty of fruit early but it did drop off a little such that it become more about chalky powdery fruits and fluffy tannin. Some acid burn but no biggie. If anything young for my tastes at 3 years but I'd be happy to try again.

  Medium bodied, but with considerable acidity, fairly coarse tannins, and a slightly pungent mouthfeel. Tart cherry juice, pepper, and Mediterranean herbs dominate, however, tobacco and pepper are more noticeable on the finish.
  
  Despite some of the shortcomings I mentioned, this wine is fairly well held together, and is quite drinkable.
