  • On PnP it's got a heavy but delightful deep fruited aroma, toward the dark end of blue fruit. Maybe blueberry pie? Flavour repeats that suggestion plus a decent amount of tannin and a moderate finish. Slow-ox in the bottle for 1.5 hours until dinner.

    45 minutes later not much has changed, except that the tannins have sharpened somewhat.

    Over the rest of the evening it stayed relatively stable, maintaining its overall yummy factor while continuing to smooth out. By the end it also went well with ribs including BBQ sauce.
