Showing a fair amount of roasted nuts. Light lemony fruit character with good minerality. Rich mouthfeel. Good compliment to food. Performed best at about 55 degrees.

Apparrently this a batch of '06 Cote de Tablas Blanc that was bottled for San Ysidro Ranch. A pallate of it was recently discovered in a TC distributor warehouse and TC put the 56 cases out for sale on January 25th for the incredible low price of $13/bottle case price for club members. They sold out within 48 hours. A blend of Viognier (59%), Marsanne (32%), Grenache Blanc (6%), and Rousanne (3%). Aromas of white flowers, pears, peaches, & wet stones. Pretty, flirty Viognier fruit seems fortified by the fatness of marsanne which provides creaminess without oakiness. Rich & round mouthfeel with typical TC minerality. Good length. Age seems to have softened this. Subdued fruit, surprisingly good depth & complexity, excellent mouthfeel. Very pleasant and an absolute steal at $13. Tastes like a mini Esprit Blanc. Wish I'd bought more than a case!
Follow up note: Still pretty good after being open 3 days in fridge.

Last bottle from a case and probably the best yet. Sad to say goodbye to this excellent wine and a fantastic value
