  I was surprised by this; it stole the show of the Barnard Griffin flight. Pretty nose reminiscent of the finest Horse Heaven Hills vineyards. The attack was moderate but the wine really filled out from the mid-palate through a long finish that featured 'sweet' and substantive tannins. I tasted a few better Cabernet Sauvignons on my tour in this price range, but this one was still really nice.
