Community Tasting Notes (1) Avg Score: 90 points

  • This wine is outstanding right now. It offers scents of cola, rose petals, lavender, dark cherry and a hint of vanilla on the nose. After a few swirls scents of dark chocolate and forest floor also appear. On the palate, the structure is intense showing flavors of dark cherries and sweet toasted oak. The acidity is in balance and the finish is long. I feel the oak will dissipate and integrate with time in bottle but I am not sure the sweetness will ever disappear. This wine will definitely become better with age but feel the sweetness will never let this wine become great. I could be wrong.
