A little complex cab from Italy. Elegant and herbacious with more tea, cigar, and cassis/black olive, pepper than fruit. Seems to be more of a Cab Franc than Sauvignon. Small producer in Buonconvento that delivers good value wines for such a pricey area. Kudos to my friend Alberto Guadagnini, owner of Casali di Bibbiano.

This is an excellent wine. Wonderful nose. Fantastic finish. Very full of berry nose and smooth as smooth can be. Excellent wine.
