  Popped and poured. Sharp aromas of red fruit and green leaves. Clean, pure flavors of earth and berry fruit up front. Cherry flavors dominate the full finish. Austere at first, but opens up quickly.
  
  Beautifully anti-hedonist, this is drinking well right now, and should continue to do so for a while.

  This actually improved on night two, and I'm not the type who typically finds wines improve after being open overnight. The fruit was still fresh and crunchy, but the prominent acidity softened a bit. Good stuff with no rush to drink.
