  My final bottle and it is was a huge alcoholic behemoth, which may have preserved the fruit. I was surprised how much I enjoyed it, but I'm sure it was better young. I'll skip the numerical score.

  Him vs. Her - a blind Winmaker tasting (Landmarc @ the Time Warner Center): Tasted blind, and popped and poured. This was my 2nd favorite out of 6 wines. So much more life in it than the 2006 version.

  Tipping the scales at 17.1% alcohol (not the 16.4% on the label), this wine is a terrible example. The VA on this wine is so strong I had to measure it. Barely on the legal limit. Tired of the overly high alcohol, high VA on their wines.
