Deep gold. Reticent nose of minerals (almost graphite like), a nutty element, and a citrusy/lemon cream type aroma. Terrific palate including general citrusy elements, but with a distinct grapefruit component that I identify with great white burgundy (since first identifying it in an awesome Domaine Leflaive Chevalier Montrachet), minerals, and a long finish. Really nice, and, (drum-roll please) NOT OXIDIZED.

A typical 96, quite a high acid level but the fruit was not enough. Good conservation and typical older chardonnay
A fine wine
