This started out pretty nicely with the delicate, ephemeral red fruit classic to Oregon...but it fell off in the decanter in a hurry, and got too bitter and acidic, and after about 2 hours green bell pepper really started muscle in, with only wisps of the fruit lingering in the background. Ultimately leaving me the impression this is past it's prime. And to clarify, this was the Estate Reserve, not the regular $15 bottling pictured and seemingly referred to in some of the other reviews...

Balanced wine. Nice bouquet, atypical for OR pinot. Round, full in the mouth with a long finish.

Light and Tasty, bit of a bite. Karen thought the Tortoise Creek Pinot was better. OK, but not great $15 pinot
