  After 30 minutes of air the nose is a dead ringer for a classic right-bank Bordeaux. Dark fruits, petrol, earth. The mouth and start, round, balanced tannins, a tiny bit heavy on the fruit, really is on par with a wine you'd pay far more for from France, the finish falls far short though, but considering the rest of the experience, and sad to say at this price point, but the value compared to today's Bordeaux pricing, this is an excellent alternative. Nothing about this wine is the big bold napa cab Boudreaux style, it's all about the elegance that Bordeaux can really be appreciated for at those astronomical price points.
