  • In our quest for good Pinot, we try them all. This one is a quite light and thin, but does have some very neat flavor profiles. I am tasting a very slight, but extremely nice cinnamon, ginger apple flavor. There is plenty of color. There is a hint of vanilla on the nose with some rose petals and red raspberry. It is surprisingly heavy, kind of leesy on the mouth. The cherry and red raspberry fruit is just barely noticeable. There is not enough acid to make this a serious wine. Tannins? The mid palate, and the finish are dominated by too much vanilla from oak. We decanted, and let it set for several hours, and it really did not come around. I don't think there is enough stuff here for aging to make any difference. This wine is just intriguing enough to buy a couple of bottles, and check them in a few years.

  • Not too dry, a little fruity, medium-bodied.
