I still like this wine, strikes me more like a Rhone Syrah than an Aussie Shiraz, showing well. Picking up berries and some earthy undertones on the nose along with a slight bit of pencil shavings but the fruit is front and present. On the palate get a definite taste of tart cherries and dark berries, may have toned down slightly since the last bottle. The tannins blend in nicely with the fruit. Has a long finish that stays on the palate for a while. A very nice, food friendly wine, was on a closeout about 3 years ago, this is the last bottle. glad I picked them up.
