  It's very dark and for a ten year old pinot has a very muted nose. There are a few fruit notes and a hint of forest floor but not as much as I was expecting. The palate is very balanced, medium weight with some structure. It's smooth with some red fruits and a nice finish. It's very nice but I can't work out if it's in a while dormant period or it's time to drink up. I bought this at the cellar door over 5 years ago. Wish I had a case to see how it had evolved. On this outing I'll certainly be looking out for this. 89 points.
