I picked up quite a bit of oak on the nose with some smoke flavors, dark berries, cherries, moss, and underwood. Similar notes on the palate with mostly dark fruit flavors, more oak, and good acidity that helps balance the wine. Medium finish. There seems to be very nice fruit buried under the wood, but right now it feels a bit too much and I'm not sure if that will ever change with more age. 91ish

Pepper, sylta røde bær, blåbær, tyttebær (?), og et fint jordpreg. Smooth i munnen, røde bær dominerer- her også litt mot tyttebær. Sursøtt preg i munnen. Fin fylde, men markant syre, særlig når vinen blir litt varm. Merkbare, men dine tanniner i finish. Deilig vin nå, men hold litt kjølig.

My first time with this vineyard. Bright ruby with slight garnet. Initially tight, it opens with a little bit of time in the glass. Red fruit and a some amount of spice. Fuller body than I was expecting, but it might be the vintage. Long spicy finish. Great.

Pale garnet with substantial bricking. Light-ish body and high acidity are a bit misleading, but slow moving legs and an alcoholic finish on the back palate remind the drinker that this was a ripe vintage across France. This pinot noir is light on its feet with a wet, marine influence, despite being nowhere near a large body of water. There’s an earthy element of forest floor and garrigue and a bit of black pepper spice. Youthful cranberry, pomegranate, and raspberry flavors ripen and become darker with air, which is much needed to balance out elevated alcohol so plan to decant 30-60 minutes.

From memory. Good quality, not the most complex. It was also lighter and more approachable on its feet than some Vosnes that I've had.
