DAY 2 and this is still a woodsy pinot. starting to crack some fruit open it seems. cherry flesh. doesn't quite get so obviously sandlewood. palate is much more attractive than the nose. this needs more time to open up. i'm fixating on the edge that marks the finish. positive mark of some tannin, or harshing my mello? let's set some aside.
