Decanted over 2 or 3 hours, but best experience was right after I opened it - the nose started out expressive and kinda shut down. Big wine. Deep ruby with light ruby on the edges. On the nose, cherry pie, blackberry jam, high toned strawberry, tobacco, leather, and maybe blood. Some heat on the nose. On the palate, big time red fruit, alcohol heat, and all the big oak indicators. Not a whole lot of complexity - without looking at the blend, it was easy to call Grenache driven blend. Pretty straightforward stuff.
Edit: day 2, put the cork back in and left in fridge overnight. This really mellowed things out, and the tannins smoothed out in a way that made this far more more enjoyable.

Great, settled wine. The smoothness of the Syrah played a bigger role than the composition suggests

So smooth. The syrah plays a bigger part of the overall composition than the % shows. Super soft Grenache paired with bold Syrah. Yummm.
