Nice, well rounded Chardonnay that exhibits hints of cream and brioche, yet not "oaky, buttery" over the top. White peach, pear and hints of tropical fruit, yet on the crisper side with decent acidity for drinking with seared scallops and risotto. The first glass was pre-meal, and it was very enjoyable without food, but the scallops really played nicely with the short, crisp finish.

Pre-Thanksgiving Dinner wine. excellent chard with buttery tones and hints of pear and oak. I usually prefer a citrus type chards but this was quite enjoyable and would likely gain a higher score from someone that prefers this style of chard

Note: I have posted a request to change the producer from Goldeneye to Migration. Starting with the 2008 vintages, the producer on the back label is now Migration and there is no reference to Goldeneye on the label anymore; even though we in the public continue to refer to Migration as "Goldeneye Migration", it is its own separate production and marketing label. Apparently Duckhorn is going to do the same thing with Decoy. FWIW.
