  Still hint of purple at the rim, clear dark red body. Hint of fresh loco rice on the nose. Still tannic in the mouth, furring the teeth, but fruit is there beneath. Quite bitter, like quince or cherry. Lingering flavour has more bramble. Not clear what will emerge with time.

  Floral nose, with aniseed, liquorice, red and black fruits and a smattering of oak. Tannins are present but not harsh, with a good bite of acidity to marry it all. Doesnt sing from the roof tops, but still provides a smile. Nice to try as it as off the beaten track. Not sure if more bottle time will develop at all.
