Straw yellow with med-lite viscosity in the glass. Dole canned fruit salad, lime, tropical fruit and sage on the nose. Lite body, austere and finnessed with lime, grapefruit pith, tropical fruit, green apple and kiwi on the palate. Round, persistent citrus wrapped in thin acidic and wax layers. Long finish. Should pair nicely with shell fish. I'd like to pair it with an apple and walnut salad.

Charlie's 65th - Lots of wines! (Charlie's Home): Made by Oregon winemaker Peter Rosback in New Zealand. The nose is very typical with tropical fruits, some grassiness but also the slightest nod of cat pee. On the palate, I thought this typical Sauvignon Blanc but others were divided. Very refreshing. Some complexity. Nice start to the afternoon.

Leslie visits Cleveland - Part 2: This got a lot of great comments. Certainly New Zealand in style. Very crisp and clean. Lots of grapefruit and some tropical fruit. Nice and zingy. Great acidity.

Good acidity to go with our pasta w/pesto sauce. Citrus flavors and a lasting finish. Very refreshing on this hot day.
