  Fragrant aromas of roses, spice and club soda, among others. Delicious palate of spices and dark fruits, with chalk in the long, full finish. This is fresh and vibrant, but with plenty of complexity and structure. At this age, a much more open and approachable wine than the regular Occhipinti offerings. I don't know if this will age well or not, but I don't think it matters because I can't imagine keeping my hands off it long enough to find out. This is just fabulous, and a bargain in the mid teens.
